Shorten cable length

 Shorten the notebook cable length from the standard cable length of 6'.
 In large installations, excess steel cables can create a real space problem. Have us tailor the cable length to your needs. Choose from 6", 1', 2', 3', 4', 5' (6" example pictured)). The length is measured from the base of the locking head to the far end of the loop. The price is the same regardless of length chosen.  All lengths are possible, so please call or email us with your unique requirements.  Note that you can also change the "loop end" to a Qualtec universal end (see below),

Change the end from a loop to a Qualtec EF

Change the notebook cable end fitting from the standard "loop" to the Qualtec universal end fitting.
The Qualtec locks (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4) come with a loop standard on the end of the cable (pictured). You can change these to Qualtec's universal end fitting (pictured) if you wish to make the cables compatible with Qualtec's many desktop system security fasteners; thread them through other cables (shown); or attach a padlock on the end of the cable.

Security screwdriver

Attach a "glued and screwed" anchor plate to the notebook cable. Available with standard screws or security screws.
The cable end of the Qualtec locks (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4) can be modified so they are permanently attached to a Qualtec anchor plate (shown). The anchor plate can be glued and the screwed to an anchoring surface. The anchor plates are available with either standard screws or "security screws". Note that security screws require a special screwdriver  (see P/N 05422 below). Special multiple plate/cable configurations are also available.

Chrome anchor plate for notebook cables with standard "loop" end. Choose standard or security screws.
The cable end of the Qualtec notebook locks (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4) come standard with a loop on the end. This anchor plate has an opening large enough to accomodate it. The anchor plate is screwed to an anchoring surface with a choice of standard screws or "security screws". The security screws require s special screwdriver for removal . Special configurations are also available.
